League of Legends: Empangeni romps home as the winners.

Empangeni High School's League of Legends esports team.
Although it is only Empangeni High School's first year of affiliation, the school threw itself into competitive esports.

With the school participating in a number of ladder games during the year, the school's League of Legends esports team honed their skills in preparation of Mind Sports South Africa's online school league which was played over a four week period.

the first round saw Empangeni beat 
Hoërskool Wonderboom. Empangeni then went on to beat Grey High, Northwood High, and Westville Boys' in order to take the title.

By having each and every game that the played, Empangeni won the league and all the athletes who make up the team have all earned their KwaZulu Natal High School Provincial Colours.
